What’s on at The Waterfront, Shell Cove
Our dedicated Community Development team at The Waterfront, Shell Cove help in creating an enriching and engaging place to live by facilitating events and communities each month. These regular events offer residents a space to connect with one another and the opportunity to meet new people in the community.
Movies on the Big Screen
Join us for a special school holiday screening of two family-friendly hits: Trolls (Wednesday 17 April) & Migration (Wednesday 24 April) at The Marina Foreshore ( next to the kids beach). Pack a picnic rug and snuggle up as we bring out the big screen! The movie starts at 6 pm.

Join local artist Dani Franza on the 3rd May 7pm-9pm at The Waterfront Sales Centre for a relaxed and creative evening where we will learn the art of watercolour florals. This beginner-friendly workshop explore the basics from techniques to flower painting, and bring home a beautiful artwork or card for yourself or a special Mum in your life. Cost is $20 and includes artwork, glass of wine and nibbles.

We are partnering with Shellharbour City Libraries and Kiama Community College to bring digital literacy classes to Shell Cove. The 8 weekly sessions starting from the 12th February will cover a range of digital literacy topics. Attend one or all sessions (each requires a separate booking) to confidently stay connected, learn at your own pace, access important information and topics of interest.

Join us in the second week of the school holidays for two days of sand sculpting with one of the country's leading sand sculpting artists, Dennis Massoud. Turn your sand castles into a world-class masterpiece and enjoy a day by the beach! This is a free event located on the Marina Foreshore (next to kid’s beach) at The Waterfront, Shell Cove.

These events are the perfect opportunity to socialise with individuals of a similar age (55+) in a casual and relaxed setting. Whether you're looking for new friends, a chat buddy, or maybe even a special someone, this is the place to be. Currently the group meet on Thursday afternoons and evenings, once a month.

Love to garden? Everyone is welcome to come along and contribute to the Shell Cove Garden. The gardening group meet every Every Wednesday from 9am-11am and Saturday from 3pm-5pm. Come along and tend to the garden to enjoy its produce.

Looking for a fun, free social activity on a Wednesday morning? Come and join The Waterfront Walkers every Wednesday at 8:30am for a short stroll around the Marina. This is a free, weekly, resident-led walking group. All welcome! Meet at the top of the stairs opposite the kids beach.

Enjoy free weekly pre-school storytime sessions every Tuesday within school term from 10am to 11am at The Waterfront, Shell Cove Sales Centre. Each session will explore new stories and encourage children to interact through song, movement and sensory activities. Suitable for all ages 2-5 years along with parent/caregiver. No bookings required!
