Frasers Property and Mitsui Fudosan forge partnership for MAC Residences, Midtown MacPark
Frasers Property Australia has announced a new capital partnership with international diversified group Mitsui Fudosan to deliver the landmark MAC Residences development at the new Midtown MacPark masterplanned community in Sydney.
Real Utilities, Frasers Property’s wholly-owned licensed energy retailing business, will provide 100% Climate Active certified carbon neutral energy to the development via an embedded network including a rooftop solar installation and smart meters to the apartments.
The Real Utilities network will ensure residents benefit from cheaper, greener, simpler energy solutions.
MAC Residences will comprise 269 apartments across 24 storeys. It is the first building at Midtown MacPark and is set to create both a gateway and a marker for the new community with its unique curved form.
The partnership marks Mitsui Fudosan’s first foray into the Australian property market. Masayoshi Saito, Managing Director of Mitsui Fudosan Australia, says the company targets “high-quality projects which leave a positive legacy”.
The 100% Climate Active-certified carbon neutral energy Real Utilities will provide to the building and its residents will ensure that legacy leaves a positive impact on the environment too.
