Frasers Property Australia sells Eastern Creek Quarter for $400m
Frasers Property Australia has exchanged contracts with Vicinity Centres for the sale of the three-stage Eastern Creek Quarter (ECQ), its retail development in Western Sydney, for A$400 million. The sale is expected to settle on 30 June 2026.
Strategically located at the intersection of the Great Western Highway and the M7 Motorway, ECQ comprises stage 1 ECQ Shopping Centre (approx. 10,000sqm GLA), stage 2 ECQ XL large format retail and showroom precinct (approx. 11,000sqm GLA), and the recently opened stage 3 ECQ Outlet, an outlet retail concept (approx. 20,000sqm GLA) featuring around 100 brands.
ECQ serves a large and growing catchment of approximately 1.2 million residents, functioning as a dynamic multi-experience destination that integrates outlet shopping with everyday groceries and essentials, convenience retail, health and beauty services, and diverse dining and entertainment options.

“Eastern Creek Quarter has quickly grown into a premier mixed-retail destination and a genuine community asset, a testament to strong partnerships and considered development,” says Cameron Leggatt, Chief Executive Officer, Frasers Property Australia.
“Vicinity Centres is a high-quality, Australian-based operator and we are confident in the future they will build at ECQ for the tenants and customers who have made it what it is today.”
“Consistent with our capital recycling strategy, the successful sale of ECQ, positions us to pursue new opportunities in large-scale, mixed-use developments across our core eastern seaboard markets, assets where we can apply our placemaking and community- building expertise at scale,” he continues.
ECQ was developed by Frasers Property over the past 10 years in collaboration with Western Sydney Parklands and the local community. Stage 1 opened in 2020, Stage 2 in 2022 and the stage 3 ECQ Outlet, Western Sydney’s first outlet retail concept, opened in March 2026.
