In 2005 we established a charitable foundation – now called The Frasers Property Foundation – to coordinate the company’s philanthropic and community investments and volunteering activities.

The Frasers Property Foundation is supported by an ongoing funding strategy and a staff Volunteering Bank of 500 volunteering days per year. The Foundation supports charitable initiatives championed by our staff, and matches every dollar raised by our people. Our focus is on physical and mental wellbeing, and we naturally engage our staff and our communities in The Foundation’s initiatives.

The Frasers Property Foundation participates in a diverse range of initiatives, including:

  • Frasers Property is supporting the mental health and wellbeing of the communities it creates through a $700,000 charitable partnership with Smiling Mind. Smiling Mind, a not-for-profit organisation focused on mental health and wellbeing. Our partnership will provide 90 schools with 12 months support through in class programs, online resources, plus training for children, parents, teachers and the wider community through the Smiling Mind mindfulness meditation programs. These programs are designed to assist people in dealing with the pressure, stress and challenges of daily life.
  • We’re currently partnering with the Property Industry Foundation (PIF) to deliver PIF House Blacktown, a home for disadvantaged young people, operated by Marist360. This six bedroom home will be delivered mid-2017. Follow the blog for this project here
  • Clean up Australia Day, a national event designed to inspire all Australians to clean up and conserve our environment. In 2016, over 100 staff formed clean-up crews working near communities in which we’re active.
  • National Hard Hat Day, a Property Industry Foundation initiative that supports homeless children.
  • Schools Tree Day, part of National Tree Day, Australia's biggest community tree-planting and nature care event.
  • Partner charity initiatives, including financial and volunteer partnerships with Kids Under Cover to provide housing for children at risk, and with Red Cross Australia to support school garden builds and breakfast clubs for disadvantaged school children.
