Coffee and brunch at the Ed.Square Sales & Display Centre at Edmondson Park
SYDNEY, 10 MAY 2018When Vine & Grind Terrace opened its doors, café proprietors Lisa and Argi realised their dream of bringing the best coffee to the future residents of Ed.Square at Edmondson Park.
Lisa and her husband already run a successful business in Liverpool and were looking for a new opportunity when they heard about plans for a café in Frasers Property Australia’s Ed.Square Sales & Display Centre.
“A friend of ours told us about the opportunity that was up for grabs at Ed.Square and given the exciting developments happening in the area, we knew it would be the perfect spot for our next venture,” says Lisa.
“Our café, Vine & Grind in Liverpool, is doing really well, however we’ve been wanting to expand our business portfolio and this space has great potential.
“The future of Edmondson Park is incredible, and we’re thrilled to be a part of the transformation and rejuvenation of our pocket of Sydney!”
Lisa, who brings her extensive background in the hospitality industry to the new enterprise, understands better than most that a good café can be the cornerstone of a community.
Lisa and Argi are looking forward to meeting their clientele as they move into the new community over the coming years. Their team will not only be there to provide that all important morning cup of coffee to residents as they embark on each day, but will welcome them for family get-togethers, birthday celebrations and friendly catch-ups over breakfast, brunch and lunch.
“We’re such a passionate team and we want to continue doing what we love. Whether it’s a morning coffee or brunch with the family, putting a smile on our customers’ faces is the best job satisfaction we can hope for,” says Lisa.
Having grown up locally, Argi and Lisa recognise Ed.Square Town Centre offers enormous growth and potential.
“It’s important for us to remain local. We’re excited to have a new business in a really familiar area to us. We’ve come to know the locals and what they’re after,” says Lisa.
“Ed.Square is a fantastic chance to be involved with something special, both professionally and personally. It’s an opportunity I couldn’t refuse.”
Vine & Grind Terrace is now open daily from 6am to 3pm, and the team is looking forward to getting to know their new customers over a cup of Single O coffee (formerly Single Origin Roasters) and a mouth-watering menu including fresh pastries and panini to more substantial brunch meals, such as Lisa’s personal favourite: truffled mushrooms.
Nigel Edgar, General Manager – Residential NSW, Frasers Property Australia, is excited that Vine & Grind Terrace is now operational at the Ed.Square Sales & Display Centre, which will set the tone for the community’s retail offering.
“We all know how important a café is to the social fabric of a community and we are thrilled that Lisa and her team have decided to invest in the future of Ed.Square,” says Mr Edgar.
