From Vision to Reality – The New Baldivis Men’s Shed

Exciting times are ahead as the Baldivis Grove community prepares to welcome the new Men’s Shed! This much-anticipated facility, located at the corner of Eighty and Pike Roads, is being delivered through a strong partnership between the Baldivis & Districts Men’s Shed, the City of Rockingham, and the WA State Government. At its heart, the Men’s Shed is about mateship, connection, and wellbeing — a place where people come together, share skills, and support one another. 🎃 Halloween Lantern Markets Shine On!

🌧️ **EVENT UPDATE – BALDIVIS LANTERN HALLOWEEN MARKET CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER!** 🎃

After eight wonderful years of support from Frasers Property, the much-loved Lantern Markets at Daintree Street, Baldivis Parks are ready to stand on their own two feet! From this October onward, the markets will be proudly managed by the experienced team at Barefoot Entertainment and Events, ensuring the magic continues to grow.
Lantern Market dates for the diary:
🎃 Halloween Lantern Market – Friday, 31 October 2025
🎄 Christmas Lantern Market – Friday, 19 December 2025
🐣 Easter Lantern Market – Good Friday, 3 April 2026
Each event promises an evening filled with glowing lanterns, local stalls, live music, delicious food, and plenty of community spirit.

The Castaways Sculpture Awards 2025 

This community event returns to Rockingham Foreshore this spring, showcasing over 50 inspiring and innovative sculptures made from recycled and repurposed materials.
Explore the three exhibitions featuring works by WA artists and local schools:
• Main Exhibition - Rockingham Foreshore
• Schools Exhibition - Churchill Park
• Maquette and Small Sculpture Exhibition - Rockingham Arts Centre.
Enjoy a range of activities including Artist Talks, a Sustainability Pop Up, the Castaways Photo Competition and more. 🤩

General Works in the Community

Stage 9 Parkland Update:
As previously advised, Western Power is scheduled to energise Stage 9 on 7 November.
• Fencing & Balustrades: Installation of Colorbond fencing and balustrades began in late September and is on track for completion in November.
• Verge Landscaping: Works, including street tree planting, are underway and expected to be completed by the end of November.
• NBN Availability: NBN services are now available in Stage 9.
• Rural Lot Fencing: Installation is scheduled to commence mid-November, with completion anticipated by late November.

Estate Update:
• Signage: All Baldivis Grove signage has now been removed from around the estate.
• Sales Completion: With all lots now sold, we’d like to share a few helpful reminders:
- If your verge tree has died, please contact the City of Rockingham to request a replacement.
- All roads and parks (excluding Stage 9) have either been handed over to the City of Rockingham or are in the process of being transferred. For any maintenance issues, please contact the City directly in the first instance.
