SYDNEY, 22 MARCH 2018 – Following the outstanding sales success of first release of apartments at Shell Cove, Frasers Property Australia is pleased to announce the next release of architecturally designed homes at The Waterfront, Shell Cove.

Like the apartments, strong demand is expected for The Riviera release, featuring four different home designs.

A selection of two and four- bedroom homes, some with additional studio loft apartments, are being offered for sale via ballot on 12th April 2018 as part of The Riviera release.

The homes are located along Harbour Boulevard in a premium location within The Waterfront community, just 250 metres from the future marina and town centre.

Offering an unrivalled harbourside lifestyle destination, The Waterfront is set to become one of Australia’s premier residential communities, and demand for homes has seen previous releases sold out quickly.

Glenn Colquhoun, Development Director – Shell Cove, Frasers Property Australia, says the range of home designs in this release will suit a variety of lifestyles and life stages.

“This new home release will offer something for buyers at every stage of their lives and every budget, including those who wish to downsize to a two-bedroom home or those after a more substantial family home with a detached, fully self-contained studio loft apartment,” says Mr Colquhoun.

“The homes with the studio loft apartment will appeal to those looking for the option of in-law accommodation or a teenage retreat.

“A selection of the homes offer water views and all are located just 250m from The Waterfront’s future marina and town centre, which are already under construction,” says Mr Colquhoun.

Sydney retiree Laurie Scutts and his wife Helen have owned a rental property in the Shell Cove area for 12 years and jumped at the chance to buy a home in The Waterfront earlier this year.

As a former sales manager for a major home builder, Mr Scutts had no doubt buying into the new community was a great idea.

“Having worked for many years in property, I knew The Waterfront, Shell Cove would make an incredible investment because of the destination it’s going to become,” says Mr Scutts.

The couple currently live at Breakfast Point in Sydney’s inner west, where they help operate a community transport service.

Their new four-bedroom terrace home on Promontory Drive will be completed in February 2019. They plan to use it as a holiday home for their extended family and rent it out when not in use.

“It’s part of our retirement scheme and a holiday house too for the family. Part of the plan is to enjoy time down there and have weekends away with our family,” says Mr Scutts.

The Riviera release will include three double-storey, semi-detached two-bedroom Bay Terrace homes with rear lane access to a single detached garage. Also available are ten Seagreen four-bedroom terrace homes with views of the wetlands. Some of the five Breeze townhomes also have water glimpses and some offer a very practical separate studio loft apartment for added flexibility.
