WOTSO and Frasers Property to deliver new coworking space at Rhodes Quarter, Sydney
- New WOTSO space to complement existing amenity at Rhodes Quarter
- Response to high demand for flexible workspace in Sydney’s north-west
- Enhances Rhodes Quarter’s ability to meet evolving space needs of its tenants
Leading coworking operator WOTSO is partnering with major diversified property group Frasers Property Australia on a new 1,000sqm coworking space at Rhodes Quarter in Sydney’s north-west that will play a key role in the precinct’s ongoing evolution.
Rhodes Quarter will be WOTSO’s 35th flexspace and is one of Sydney’s premier mixed-use commercial precincts close to Olympic Park and Homebush, with easy access to the city and Parramatta by both road and rail. WOTSO’s new coworking space will complement Rhodes Quarter’s existing high-quality amenity including ample on-site parking, premium end-of-trip facilities, Ohmie GO electric vehicle hire, onsite gym, cafes, onsite childcare, early learning services and a direct link to Rhodes Waterside Shopping Centre.
Chief Executive Officer of WOTSO, Jessie Glew, says the agreement is a “great opportunity” to capitalise on demand for coworking and flexible leasing at Rhodes Quarter.
“It’s a high-quality space in a fantastic building – we are very excited to be moving in,” says Ms Glew.
Mark Gleeson, Executive General Manager Investment & Capital Transactions, Frasers Property Australia says the community at Rhodes Quarter is excited to welcome WOTSO who will complement the engaging community-led precinct which already caters to a diverse range of tenants and businesses in a high-quality and amenity-rich office environment.
“The addition of WOTSO enables the precinct, which already has an impressive selection of fitted tenancies, as well as full floor opportunities, to also cater to smaller local businesses or freelancers who are looking for flexible month-to-month leases and a collaborative working environment. Facilitating the growth of these businesses is a key consideration for us in partnering with WOTSO at Rhodes Quarter,” says Mr Gleeson.
WOTSO will join a diverse array of existing tenants at Rhodes Quarter such as Nestle, Frasers Property Australia, Hewlett Packard, Rebel Sport, DHL, Bose, Puma and Chery Australia.
Ms Glew says there’s demonstrated local demand for coworking in the area. Just 10 minutes away, WOTSO North Strathfield has been running at full occupancy for the last eight months.
“The day after signing we put out an email to our North Strathfield members and immediately got six takers for space at Rhodes, which is a great sign,” says Ms Glew.
