Buyers find their ideal home at Tailor’s Walk

First homebuyers Jess Light and Chris Neads were losing hope of finding an affordable two-bedder in the area when they visited the Tailor’s Walk sales office and display suite.
“As soon as we walked into the display apartment I said, ‘This is where we are going to live’,” says Jess. “Two days later we, signed the contract.”
The couple paid $830,000 for a second floor two-bedroom apartment. It meets every item on their wish list, including a corner position and north-facing aspect that floods their home with natural light.
“The balcony runs the whole length of the living area and both bedrooms, and the sun on the balcony in the mornings is really beautiful,” says Jess.
Jess also loves the finishes in their new home and connection to the landscaped open spaces.
“Because it’s just the two of us, the second bedroom is our study and we turned the study nook into a wine cellar.”
Having grown up in the area – Chris in Malabar and Jess in Pagewood – they know Botany well and are excited about its transformation from industrial area to cosmopolitan hub with restaurants, shops and cafes.
Margot Dempster and her architect fiancé Diego Beltran, were so impressed by its design they bought a two bedroom apartment on the same day they first visited the Tailor’s Walk sales office.
“We went to the sales office on the Saturday morning and transferred the deposit that night,” says Margot. As dog-owners, Margot says being in a pet-friendly community was a prerequisite and they look forward to using the public park and gated gardens once they are completed this year.
“We have two dogs, so the open space was really important to us,” she says.
