Buyers respond to wider choice of Shell Cove homes
SYDNEY, 16 FEBRUARY 2018 – The first 45 apartments ever to be offered at The Waterfront, Shell Cove have sold in a matter of hours, underlining the intense demand for homes and the need to offer apartment living options in the new community.
With prices starting from $565,000 for a one-bedroom AQUA apartment through to $1.495 million for the top-priced three-bedroom options, over $41 million in total sales were recorded on the day.
More than 1,000 registrations of interest were received for the first apartments in the new Frasers Property Australia and Shellharbour City Council masterplanned community.
The AQUA release will comprise three levels of apartments in one, two and three-bedroom configurations above the restaurant precinct at The Waterfront, Shell Cove. Residents will enjoy breathtaking views of the marina and over the water.
Designed by internationally acclaimed architects HDR, the AQUA apartments are expected to be completed in 2019. By then, the first stage of the neighbourhood shopping centre will be open, with a Woolworths supermarket and nine specialty shops.
The waterfront restaurant precinct with around six eateries in stage two will follow shortly after, and a waterfront tavern, community centre, library and hotel will complete stage three of the community amenity.

“Our continued interaction with our database and their housing preferences pointed to the particular need to provide more three-bedroom waterfront apartment options, given the lack of choice for this type of property in Shellharbour.
“By offering greater choice, we’ve been able to deliver more people the right home to match their lifestyle, and we anticipate future apartment releases to be equally sought after given the number of registrations of interest received to date,” he says.
