Frasers Property Australia has set up its first Sustainable Finance Framework, the first to define an entire portfolio as sustainable assets using the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) ratings and also the first of its kind framework for sustainability-linked bonds and loans in Asia Pacific from a real estate company.

MELBOURNE, 22 FEBRUARY 2018 – Around 30 Frasers Property Australia volunteers will roll up their sleeves at Burnside Heights Recreation Reserve in Melton for Business Clean Up Australia Day on Tuesday February 27. It’s the tenth year in a row the company has been involved in the important environmental initiative.
From 9.30am, the volunteers will be picking up rubbish and giving the area a general makeover, helping to beautify one of the local community’s best loved nature reserves.
Journalists and photographers are welcome to attend on the day. Burnside Heights Recreation Reserve is on Tenterfield Drive in Melton, opposite Kororoit Creek Primary School, making it even more important to keep clean.
Olivia Leal-Walker, Sustainability Coordinator, Frasers Property Australia says Clean Up Australia Day is about taking the time to appreciate – and care – for what we have.
“We recognise that the places we create are more than bricks and mortar, or concrete and steel. Across all our operations, Frasers Property focuses on creating places that embrace and respond to their natural environments,” Ms Leal-Walker says.
“It’s therefore incumbent upon us to take the time to care for the environment. Clean Up Australia Day is a great way to do this, and galvanise our team in the process,” she says.
Burnside Heights Recreation Reserve is near Frasers Property’s West Park Industrial Estate in Truganina. The 310 hectare industrial estate is conveniently located near the Deer Park Bypass, allowing access to the Western Ring Road, Tullamarine Freeway and Calder Freeway. It is home to a range of high profile occupiers including CEVA Logistics, Australia Post, Denso and Toll.
