Opportunities to build a dream home at Wallara Waters

MELBOURNE, APRIL 27 2018 – Joint venture partners Frasers Property Australia and Mondous Property Australia will release 20 new land lots at the popular Wallara Waters masterplanned community at Wallan this weekend.

Last month, the latest release of 18 land lots at Wallara Waters sold within 24 hours, demonstrating the growing appeal of the well-connected township.

Ranging in size from 400 square metres to 562 square metres and in price from $252,000 to $286,000 demand for these new lots is again expected to be strong.

Located on a 186 hectare site, Wallara Waters will eventually comprise 1,500 homes, complemented by six hectares of wetlands and dedicated open spaces, and will be home to approximately 3,000 residents. Merri Creek Park, part of the first stage of the development, has a basketball half court, barbecue facilities and playground.

Brent Hill, Sales and Marketing Manager, Frasers Property Australia says Wallan is one of the fastest growing towns in Victoria and its population has an average age of just 35.

“Wallara Waters is very popular with young families because it offers value for money homes, convenient access to greater Melbourne and a relaxed lifestyle with peaceful tree-lined streets,” says Mr Hill.

“Against the backdrop of the Great Dividing Range, Wallara Waters at Wallan is recognised as one of the area’s premium new communities. Lying just outside Melbourne’s metropolitan boundary, the community is 500 metres from the train station and a 45 kilometre V-line commute to Melbourne CBD. Residents also enjoy easy access via the Hume Highway to Tullamarine airport.”

Only one kilometre from the Wallan town centre, Wallara Waters is within two kilometres of primary and secondary schools, and a new shopping precinct with fitness centre and medical centre is proposed for the community.

Kinglake National Park, with its tranquil hiking trails and beautiful picnic spots, is 34 kilometres away, and Yan Yean Reservoir Park is also within easy reach of Wallara Waters.

With 400 homes already established at Wallara Waters, the sense of community is already strong. Free fitness boot camps run by Live Life Get Active and sponsored by Frasers Property run every week day at 9.30am at Merri Creek Park, enabling residents to interact with each other and enjoy the picturesque surrounds.

Gardening and Christmas light competitions help to foster cohesion, and the community now has its very own cricket club, founded by a local resident, which has attracted around 20 families.

The Wallara Waters sales centre is at 170 Wallan-Whittlesea Rd, Wallan, and is open from Sunday to Thursday, 11am to 5pm. Visit wallarawaters.com.au or call Frasers Property on 13 38 38 for more information.
