The detailed design for Stage 5 is expected to be finalised this week, after which it will progress through Council approval. This package contains the technical engineering plans required before major construction can begin, helping ensure works can move smoothly into the next phase once approved.

The civil construction contracts are currently being executed with the contractor preparing to commence. Awarding the tender is a key milestone - it means the builder responsible for delivering the roads, drainage, services and general civil works has been locked in.

Early sewer works commenced at the end of January and are now well underway. These early works install essential underground sewer infrastructure for the stage. Completing this early ensures important services are in place and helps keep the broader construction program on track.
