Encompass Construction Update

Construction Update

Welcome to the latest Encompass Update.

We’re excited to keep you informed about how the project is progressing, give you insights into the construction process and ensure you’re up to date with the development of your new community.

Progress Update

The builder continues to progress with internal works with services fit off fully complete along with appliances installed throughout. Levels 4-7 have had final paint completed and carpet is now installed to corridors on all levels. The project management team is continuing defecting having completed up to level 3. The external works are progressing with the ground floor terrace fencing now installed and preparing for the external landscaping. The level 7 communal area and balcony area floor tiles are now installed, and planter works are underway. The builder is continuing to work hard to meet permit conditions required to enable subdivision which is the next milestone within the program.

Revised Settlement Date

As work progresses on your new Encompass apartment, we have been advised by the building contractor that a delay of four to eight weeks in completion is expected. This means that settlements which were expected to have taken place in February are now anticipated to occur March to April. We understand and apologise for this inconvenience, and we are working hard to expedite the completion of your apartment.

A range of factors have caused this delay, including well-reported materials and trades shortages, exacerbated by the upcoming Christmas period and longer-than-expected approval times from various authorities. We continue to work closely with the contractor to establish a timeframe for the delivery of your apartment to a high-quality standard, and we’ll advise precise dates as soon as we have more clarity.

We invite you to contact our Customer Care team if you have any questions.

State Government Redevelopment

The State Government made an announcement in September regarding the redevelopment of neighbouring social housing buildings at Carlton.

While this is good news, we appreciate that, as a neighbour, there might be implications and inconveniences during redevelopment for you.

The purpose of this communication is to say that since the announcement we have endeavoured to find out more information around timings but have nothing new to report as yet.

As soon as we have any information on the redevelopment program, rest assured, we will pass this onto you.
