The Grove Community in Tarneit

  • Over 140 families welcomed into Stages 47 and 51 in 2024 at The Grove’s Riverside neighbourhood.
  • Brinbeal Secondary College officially opened, catering for up to 1,300 students including specialist education support, enhancing local education options.
  • Major amenities on the way in 2025, including a new park and wetlands completion, plus a future Town Centre developed by Empire Properties.

The Grove welcomed over 140 families into their new homes across Stages 47 and 51 in 2024, reinforcing the Riverside neighbourhood’s popularity among new homeowners. Meanwhile, construction is progressing on an additional 100 homes in Stages 52 and 53, further expanding the thriving community.

Residents at The Grove are now enjoying easy access to a range of established amenities, including expansive parklands, playgrounds, quality schools, wetlands, and the Werribee River – all within walking distance of their homes.

A standout achievement in 2024 was the opening of Brinbeal Secondary College. The new school welcomed its first intake of students and is set to grow to accommodate up to 1,300 students, including dedicated support for around 100 students with specialist needs.

Work is nearing completion on a major green infrastructure project in Stage 51, with the extension of the community’s picturesque wetlands and a brand-new public park.

When finished, the waterway and surrounding green spaces will offer a network of shared walking and cycling paths, picnic areas and wildlife habitat, with links directly to the Werribee River. The future park will include an adventure playground with a tall lookout tower, a mini basketball court, picnic shelters, and plenty of open space. Both the wetlands and Stage 51 park are on track for completion in Q1 2025.

Frasers Property, through Empire Properties, has been working in partnership with Wyndham City Council to progress plans for the highly anticipated Town Centre at The Grove.

Construction is expected to commence in mid-2025, subject to council approvals. Anchored by Woolworths, the new hub will feature more than 20 specialty stores, cafes, and services, as well as an adjacent community reserve.

Frasers Property remains committed to fostering connection and a sense of belonging through a wide range of community development initiatives.

This year, residents came together to celebrate Frasers Property’s 100-year anniversary at a lively Block Party. Other popular events included Easter and Christmas celebrations, Diwali, Grooves at The Grove, Movie Night in the Park, Halloween, and a Clean Up Day in collaboration with the Werribee River Association.
