  • Ebb Drive Park is now open, featuring nature-inspired play spaces, a platypus sculpture by Glenn Romanis, and family-friendly amenities designed for all ages.
  • Purposefully designed to bring neighbours together, the space is set to become a hub for community connection and belonging.

The Grove has unveiled its newest green space, Ebb Drive Park, in a vibrant celebration that brought the community together for a day filled with joy, connection, and family-friendly fun.

From disco skating with Rolla Bae and live music, to face painting, delicious eats, and a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny, the event marked the official opening of the park with colour, laughter and energy. Residents gathered to explore the park's unique features and celebrate the community.

The opening of Ebb Drive Park and delivery of the final section of wetlands and waterway adds another exciting chapter to The Grove’s commitment to creating connected, nature-inspired neighbourhoods. Designed with inspiration from the nearby Werribee River and conservation area, the park blends earthy tones, native landscaping, and natural elements like rocks and logs to reflect the local environment.

Ebb Drive Park and Wetlands

Among the park’s highlights is a stunning Platypus sculpture by acclaimed artist Glenn Romanis, whose work across Australia celebrates environmental and cultural storytelling. The sculpture is a tribute to the platypus population found along the riverbanks, enhancing the park’s sense of place.

In collaboration with Fleetwood Urban, the park’s adventure playground features a tall lookout tower, a mini basketball court, picnic shelters, informal skate play areas, and a spacious grassed area perfect for kickabouts and community gatherings. Every element has been thoughtfully designed to encourage play, imagination, and connection.
