  • Citation held since 2018
  • Enables meaningful actions to improve the working lives of all team members

Frasers Property Limited’s Australian platform, which includes Frasers Property Australia and Frasers Property Industrial, has officially retained its Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) citation for another year, reinforcing its commitment to equality in the workplace.

Since 2018, Frasers Property has officially been recognised as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality.

The citation is a voluntary leading-practice recognition program designed to encourage, recognise and promote organisations' active commitment to achieving gender equality in Australian workplaces.

“Participation in WGEA’s Employer of Choice citation allows us to facilitate meaningful actions to improve the working lives of both women and men throughout our business. Our leaders are accountable for these actions, which include providing support for those with caring responsibilities, our gender neutral approach to parental leave, eliminating the gender pay gap, offering flexible work arrangements, preventing gender-based harassment, discrimination, sexual harassment and bullying, and seeking ways to drive change beyond our own workplace,” Anthony Boyd, CEO, Frasers Property Australia says.

“Gender equality is of principle importance to our overall Diversity and Inclusion strategy, and this citation demonstrates the actions we take to promote and protect gender equality deliver real outcomes for our people and organisation,” he says.

Mary Wooldridge, WGEA Director, says WGEA’s Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation verifies to employees – and potential employees – that an organisation is taking meaningful action to improve the working lives of women and men throughout the business.

“Critically, EOCGE employers are delivering an approach that results in better support structures in place for working families; stronger actions to address pay inequalities; and strategic recruitment, promotion and retention practices that encourage the full participation of women at work,” Ms Wooldridge says.

The WGEA Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation operates on a 24-month cycle so organisations must re-apply every two years to retain their citation. Frasers Property has held the citation since 2018/19.
