Berwick Waters Quarterly Project Update - April 2021

Dear Residents and Community Members,

There have been a number of recent questions on social media about various projects in and around Berwick Waters.

Unfortunately, for various reasons, progress at Berwick Waters has not been as quick as we’d like and we appreciate this is frustrating for members of the community. We also apologise for not more proactively communicating with you on these issues.

Over recent years a planning dispute with City of Casey meant some works were unable to proceed, and more recently COVID-19 also impacted retail development activity. With these issues now largely behind us, we are restarting the project so you will see a pick-up in progress, at least for the issues within our control.

We’ve prepared the below summary for our residents and the community, to address some of the queries relating to the status of various community projects. There are numerous stakeholders involved delivering different community projects which makes it a bit complex. While some community projects are outside our control, we will continue to advocate on behalf of the community.

Moving forward, we will provide quarterly updates to the residents of Berwick Waters via email, as well as keeping the community updated via Facebook, continue to use this format to ensure the community is kept up to date with these community projects.
