Berwick Waters Quarterly Update September 2026

Dear residents and community members,

Welcome to our third quarter update.

As you’ll see from the table below, all of the Berwick Waters amenity for which Frasers Property is responsible is now either complete or underway. As a result, from our next update we’ll transition from a table format to a simple letter keeping you up to date with everything you need to know about your community.

In great news, approvals from Melbourne Water continue to progress, with authorisation now in place to commence civil works for the Stage 14 wetlands between Bells Road and Soldiers Road. These works are anticipated to be completed in Q2 2027, with landscaping to follow.

Landscaping works at the Moorside Crescent wetlands are also progressing well and remain on track for completion in Q2 2027. This includes the delivery of two new pedestrian bridges, with construction expected to commence in the coming months.

Once both wetland projects are complete, the precinct will be transformed into a tranquil green sanctuary, further enhancing Berwick Waters' reputation for its expansive open spaces and calming water features. Rare in their scale and level of integration within a masterplanned community, the wetlands offer residents an exceptional natural setting to live, relax and connect.

The Mondous Island Wetlands works are also underway and still tracking for a completion date of Q2 next year.

And speaking of open spaces, we were thrilled to see our Tree Walk Park recognised at the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects Victorian awards last week. The park won the Play Spaces division thanks to its outstanding design and community value and will now progress to the national awards, to be held next month. Congratulations and best of luck to our contractor Tract for this much deserved honour.

Settlements in Stages 11, 12, 13, 17 and 20 now complete, and we’re excited to see construction of homes get underway ahead of new residents joining our community. We’ll be hosting a Meet Your Neighbour event in the coming for residents who have recently settled in these stages, so please keep an eye out for further communications.

With our work on those stages finished we’ve turned our attention to Stages 19, 21 and 23 where civil construction has commenced ahead of an expected completion date of before Q3 next year.

We held the first of our three community forums on August 8th and it was fabulous to see so many passionate and interested Berwick Waters residents join to share their ideas and find out about the wide range of events and social opportunities within our community.

The next two forums will be held on Monday, October 26th from 6pm to 7.30pm (Council Forum with City of Casey) and Tuesday, December 1 from 6pm to 7.30pm (Frasers Property Development team). Click on the link in the table below if you’d like to come along or find out more information.
