SYDNEY, 8 AUGUST 2019
First home buyers, downsizers, young families and investors now have the chance to secure a house in Frasers Property Australia’s Fairwater community in Blacktown at a more affordable price than ever with the launch of new single-storey homes.
The new single-story homes come in a mix of two and three-bedroom designs available for the very first time. The two-bedroom homes are priced from $565,000 to $615,000, while the three-bedroom homes are priced at $660,000 to $715,000.
Dino Carulli, Sales & Marketing Director – Residential NSW, Frasers Property Australia says the choice of homes give all types of buyers the opportunity to enter an award-winning and established community at a low price point.
“The prices of these single-storey houses mean they will have broad appeal. First home buyers can take advantage of government incentives, families buying their next home can potentially lower their mortgages, and downsizers can move on from larger homes and enjoy the connected Fairwater lifestyle with money perhaps left over,” Mr Carulli says.
“These brand new two and three-bedroom houses compare favourably in price to older properties in Blacktown and are lower in price when compared to new two bedroom apartments in nearby locations, highlighting the relative affordability of Fairwater, with the advantage of being surrounded by so many great community amenities.”
The chart above compares the relative pricing of new two bedroom dwellings in Fairwater to new high-density apartment developments in the surrounding region, based on advertised prices as at June 20191.
The new single-story Fairwater homes will have open-plan living areas with some properties featuring 3-metre-high ceilings. Buyers can choose from four different colour schemes, and the pet-friendly properties will feature low-maintenance rear yards.
Residents of these single-storey homes will have easy access to Fairwater’s many parklands including the future Central Park, which will feature a children’s play area and outdoor fitness equipment on completion.
Fairwater is a connected community set on a 38-hectare former golf course and features more than nine hectares of open space and picturesque surrounds, including lakes and ponds, boardwalks, walkways and pramways, a playground and learn-to-ride bike track, all just one kilometre from the Blacktown CBD.
