Shell Cove Construction Update - Vela Apartments

Last month, we proudly reached a significant milestone—the topping out of the Vela Apartments.

To mark the occasion, our team at Frasers Property Australia came together with our builder, Binah, and Shellharbour City Council for a special Olive Tree Ceremony. This meaningful tradition represents not only peace and new beginnings but also the strength of collaboration and our shared commitment to building something truly special for the community.

As we move closer to delivering high-quality apartment homes for Shell Cove, we remain dedicated to keeping you informed every step of the way.

Here’s the latest progress on site:

• In ceiling services are progressing across five of the ten levels.
• Apartment sewer pipework is largely complete in the South Tower.
• West elevation window installation is complete up to Level 1 in both towers.
• Bathrooms and laundry concrete preparation in readiness for waterproofing has progressed to Level 1 of the North Tower and Level 3 of the South Tower.
• Apartment wall framing has reached Level 1 in the North Tower and Level 3 in the South Tower. Installation of Hebel for inter-tenancy walls has made similar progress.
• The construction of the prototype apartment (used to benchmark quality) is underway and now includes wall services rough-ins and wall linings. The next installations will be the wet areas and the prototype kitchen.
