Important update about your upcoming settlement at Vela apartments
The team at Frasers Property look forward to keeping you informed as construction progresses to completion and to help you prepare for the settlement of your new Vela apartment.
The first settlements are anticipated to commence from late August through to September. Read on for important information and helpful guidance to ensure that you are well prepared for the settlement of your new home.
Prepare your loan approval now
Consult your bank or financial lender to prepare your loan approval now as we are within 3 months of settlement. Contact your legal representative if you require a copy of your contract or the deposit receipts for your loan application.
If you are settling with financing , you will need unconditional approval from your lender and a signed final loan contract. This contract will need to be finalised early enough for your bank to be ready before settlement.
Getting your property valued
Some lenders or banks may require a valuation of your property to assess its value.
Once your apartment is ready for valuation appointments, we will notify you and provide booking instructions that can be passed on to your financial provider.
Inspecting your future home
A pre-settlement inspection is an exciting opportunity to view your newly completed apartment before settlement.
This is the perfect time to familiarise yourself with your new home, take measurements, and begin planning your furniture, styling and move-in arrangements.
Once your apartment is completed, we will invite you to attend your pre-settlement inspection.
If you are unable to attend, you may nominate someone to undertake the inspection on your behalf. Simply let our Customer Care team know.
Getting ready for settlement
We are pleased to advise that the title has now been registered. The next step is the issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy. Once this has been received, we can confirm your settlement date. Your legal representative will receive formal notice of settlement as per the notice period defined in your contract of sale, and they can then book a settlement date with us.
