Shell Cove Construction Update - Vela Apartments

We’re delighted to share this final construction update as the Vela apartments journey reaches an exciting milestone.

We’re pleased to confirm that Practical Completion has now been successfully achieved by Binah Constructions, marking the culmination of more than two years of construction.

Settlements have now commenced, with purchasers receiving the keys to their new homes and beginning to call Vela home.

We are incredibly proud of what has been delivered at Vela and the outstanding quality of the finished apartments and communal spaces. The care, craftsmanship and detail evident throughout the development are a credit to the Binah team and the many consultants, subcontractors and project partners who have contributed along the way.

With construction now complete, the focus has been on preparing the building for settlement and welcoming its new residents. The apartments, landscaped areas and communal facilities are complete, and we look forward to seeing purchasers enjoy their new homes and the unique waterfront lifestyle Vela offers on the foreshore of Shell Cove Marina.

Moving into your new home

As settlements commence, a friendly reminder that all resident move-in dates are to be coordinated with Illawarra Facilities Management, Vela’s Building Manager. Contact details and the move-in booking procedure are included in the Welcome Letter recently issued by our Customer Care team regarding settlements. Residents must make prior arrangements with the Building Manager for their move-in.

Purchasers will also have access to the Vela Residents Hub, which contains useful information about your new home, including manuals, warranties, care and maintenance information and guidance on the various systems within your apartment. The Residents Hub can be accessed by scanning the QR code located next to the distribution board within your apartment.
