Welcome to the latest Construction Update.

We’re pleased to keep you informed about how the project is progressing, give you insights into the construction process and ensure you’re up to date with the development of your new community.

Vela – August 2026

During July, Vela continued its transition from construction into the final stages of completion, with strong progress across apartment finishes, communal facilities and landscaping.

Frasers’ Quality Assurance programme has now reached another significant milestone, with QA2 inspections completed across all levels.

Purchaser inspections are progressing well across the Ground Floor and Level 1 apartments, with Level 2 and Level 3 inspections now commencing. Our Customer Care team will continue coordinating bookings for Level 4 apartments as they become ready for inspection.

The communal areas advanced significantly during the month. The swimming pool has been filled and is undergoing final commissioning, while the gym equipment and stainless-steel outdoor kitchen have now been installed. The communal lounge and dining areas are substantially complete, with furniture to be unboxed and set out closer to settlements.

External works continue to transform the presentation of the development. Landscaping has progressed well, with turf, planting and mulch installed throughout many areas of the site. Crazy paving has continued through the communal spaces and along the marina foreshore, while the Ground Floor courtyards have also been turfed, showcasing the generous private outdoor areas available to residents.

Internally, finishing works continue throughout the buildings. The Ground Floor lobbies and apartment cores are nearing completion, timber handrails are being installed, and the final finishing works to the internal stair balustrades and handrails are progressing. These details are bringing the shared spaces together and providing a clear indication of the quality and character of the completed development.

Overall, July delivered another month of strong progress, with the project moving steadily towards completion as the focus shifts to final finishes, purchaser inspections and settlement preparations.
