Quarterly Update - June 2025
Dear residents and community members,
As we reach the mid-point of the year, it’s time to let you know what’s been happening, and what’s coming up, for our community.
You’ll no doubt have noticed the progress being made on our new shopping centre, Mambourin Marketplace. We’re thrilled to announce the centre with its full line Coles supermarket will open on schedule in September. Keep an eye on our social channels for information on retailers, and an opening event.
The KFC restaurant on Black Forest Road has also now opened, joining its neighbours the 7-Eleven convenience store and petrol station.
Nearby, infrastructure and civil works have now been completed for the town centre — including the new access routes along Koodya Street and Delama Boulevard — and the first Medium Density Precinct is titled with construction of Mambourin’s first townhomes now underway.
Civil works on the second Medium Density Precinct is also complete, with final compliance checks underway ahead of likely title lodgement in July. Townhome construction in this area will begin soon after titles are received.
Still in the town centre, Good News Lutheran College last month held an official opening celebration for its Hope Building. We congratulate them on the wonderful facility they’re creating at the heart of our community.
As always, we have a full program of events at Mambourin, designed to help new and existing residents make friends and connections.
This Saturday head to Club Mambourin’s multipurpose room for the free Mambourin Neighbourhood Networking community building event, featuring an Ethiopian coffee ceremony, cultural food, music, kids’ entertainment, henna facepainting and a neighbourhood showbag for attendees full of helpful resources and information. It’s on from 4pm to 6pm with all Mambourin residents welcome.
The event has been organised by participants in Wyndham City Council’s Building Blocks Community Leadership Program.
Also at Club Mambourin, with school holidays beginning on July 5, we’re partnering with Iramoo Community Centre to deliver a range of art workshops for children and adults throughout the month.
You can find more details about these and other events here on the My Mambourin Facebook page.
And finally, with only a few land lots remaining at Mambourin, now is a great time to let any friends or colleagues know if they’re thinking of joining the community. While these final lots won’t last long, we also have a new release coming soon at our sister community, Mambourin Green, with a wide range of lot sizes available. Speak to our sales team for more information on both opportunities.
As usual we will continue to update residents via email and keep the community engaged via Facebook. If you live outside Mambourin but would like to receive updates by email, please sign up at frasersproperty.com.au/VIC/Mambourin/Contact or contact us on 13 38 38.
We hope to see you at one of our upcoming community events soon.
