Retailers revealed for the new Mambourin Marketplace
Attention residents in the west: the first speciality tenants at Mambourin Marketplace have been revealed and coming soon to our community will be a comprehensive range of food and beverage choices, health and medical services, fitness and beauty options, fresh food and grocery stores, and other important services like phone repairs.
Frasers Property Australia has confirmed Mambourin Marketplace will be home to Plus Fitness, Beauty Canvas, Will's Nails & Beauty, Sarnandoz Barber, Fantastic Variety, Grace Oz Grocery, Mambourin Meat & Fish, Mambourin Fruit & Veg, Choice Pharmacy, Doctors & Co, Naturals Street Kitchen, François, Burger Point, Smokin' Joes Pizza & Pasta, Flappy's Fried Chicken, Blue Hippo Laundry, Sushi Hub and My Fone Repairs.
The new retailers will join a full-line Coles supermarket in the $60 million Mambourin Marketplace, which is set to become the social, convenience and dining heart of Frasers Property’s new Mambourin community in Melbourne’s west.
Mambourin Marketplace will open in September, so stay tuned for the impending official opening date announcement in the coming weeks.
Altogether, Mambourin Marketplace will feature approximately 25 specialty stores, thoughtfully curated to offer a vibrant mix of well-known national brands alongside unique local operators. This deliberate blend not only supports homegrown businesses but also celebrates the rich cultural diversity that defines the rapidly growing community.
“We promised our residents a high quality and diverse mix of shops and services which would ensure Mambourin Marketplace becomes a convenient and engaging place to visit, and our wonderful new tenants will deliver just that,” says Thomas Rethati, Development Director, Frasers Property Australia.
“By showcasing local concepts and celebrating the flavours of the area, Mambourin Marketplace will serve as a dynamic hub where residents can connect, discover authentic experiences, and enjoy the distinct character that only a community-driven shopping centre can provide.
“Excitement is building among residents of our Mambourin community and people from across Melbourne’s booming west, and we can’t wait to open the doors to Mambourin Marketplace very soon,” Mr Rethati says.
One of the new retailers preparing to open at Mambourin Marketplace is Melbourne-based café concept François, run by hospitality expert James Meunier and his long-term business partner Vyvy. James and his family are Mambourin locals.
“This area is home to us. Our eldest daughter goes to the local school and our youngest, who’s turning three, is at the local childcare centre,” he says.
“I’ve watched the Mambourin community grow and I’ve seen first-hand the progress of the new neighbourhood shopping centre. There’s no other coffee offer like François in this part of the western suburbs so we’re looking forward to bringing great coffee and food, generous service and some real European flair to the local community,” he says.
At the heart of the marketplace and adjacent to the al fresco dining area will be a beautifully landscaped children’s play area, designed to be a vibrant and welcoming focal point for families and visitors of all ages. This thoughtfully crafted space will feature a variety of imaginative play equipment and natural elements, encouraging creativity, exploration, and social interaction among children.
Surrounded by greenery and integrated seating for parents, the play area will foster a sense of community and connection, making it a joyful gathering spot where families can relax, unwind, and enjoy quality time together.
