Mambourin shines bright with first Diwali celebration
Residents gathered to celebrate Mambourin’s first Diwali Festival making a milestone for the community.
Mambourin & Mambourin Green Discovery Centre came alive as families, friends and neighbours gathered for the community’s first-ever Diwali celebration. It was a vibrant event filled with colour, culture and connection.
The festivities celebrated the spirit of Diwali festival of lights, bringing people together to share traditions and create new memories. Residents were treated to an array of lively experiences, from captivating Bollywood dance performances, intricate henna art to creative kids’ crafts and mouth-watering dishes served fresh from a local food truck.
Adding to the fun, Eesha the Elephant made a special appearance, delighting children and adults alike. Music filled the air with DJ Richi spinning upbeat tracks, keeping the crowd dancing well into the night.
With its blend of joy, community spirit and cultural celebration, Mambourin’s first Diwali event was a huge success! The lights, laughter and shared experiences mark a beautiful start to what is sure to be an annual highlight for the neighbourhood.
