Now that the building is complete we can now lodge the Strata Plan which is reviewed by a registered surveyor (external party).

An Occupation Certificate (also known as Certificate of Occupancy) will be registered to confirm the building complies with the State’s specific building codes and that the building is ready to be occupied.

6 - Practical Completion
Practical completion stage means that the builder has completed the majority of the construction, so it is time to get ready to settle and move in.

7 - Finance & legal
It's time to get ready for settlement.

8 - Valuation
Some lenders or banks may require a valuation of your property.

9 - Pre-Settlement Inspection
A pre-settlement inspection allows you to inspect your future home to investigate its quality and note any defects or issues that need to be rectified before settlement.

10 - Settlement Notice
Once the title is registered and the property has received a Certificate of Occupancy

11 - Settlement
On the settlement day, you pay the balance of the purchase price and you are now the registered owner of the property.

Planned Settlement: Q4 2026
Monfort Townhomes 2A
- Homes 201–204: Tiling is complete, with joinery, benchtops, and marble splashbacks installed. Externally, topsoil has been imported and planting works are expected to commence shortly.
- Homes 214–220: Joinery has been installed and waterproofing is complete, with tiling works ongoing. External cladding is nearing completion.
- Homes 221–226: Cladding works are complete and scaffolding has been removed, with joinery installation underway.
- Homes 233–241: External render is complete and will be painted shortly. Internal services rough-in has been completed, with plasterboard works currently underway.
- Homes 227–232: Cladding is nearing completion and services rough-in works have been completed. Internally, insulation and plasterboard installation are progressing.
