Now that the building is complete we can now lodge the Strata Plan which is reviewed by a registered surveyor (external party).

An Occupation Certificate (also known as Certificate of Occupancy) will be registered to confirm the building complies with the State’s specific building codes and that the building is ready to be occupied.

6 - Practical Completion
Practical completion stage means that the builder has completed the majority of the construction, so it is time to get ready to settle and move in.

7 - Finance & legal
It's time to get ready for settlement.

8 - Valuation
Some lenders or banks may require a valuation of your property.

9 - Pre-Settlement Inspection
A pre-settlement inspection allows you to inspect your future home to investigate its quality and note any defects or issues that need to be rectified before settlement.

10 - Settlement Notice
Once the title is registered and the property has received a Certificate of Occupancy

11 - Settlement
On the settlement day, you pay the balance of the purchase price and you are now the registered owner of the property.

Planned Settlement: October to November 2026
Monfort Townhomes 2B
- Homes 201–204: Internally, homes are progressing well and are now in the final stages of completion, with finishing touches underway. Externally, landscaping is coming together nicely, with planting and hardscaping complete, and fencing and turf currently being installed.
- Homes 214–220: Final internal fit-off works are progressing well, with timber flooring and carpet now being installed. Externally, fencing is complete and hardscaping has been finalised, with landscaping and planting set to commence shortly.
- Homes 221–226: Internally, these homes are progressing well and are approaching the Frasers Property defect inspection stage. Externally, fencing and landscaping are also nearing completion, bringing the homes closer to final readiness.
- Homes 233–241: Internally, these homes are progressing well, with tiling complete and all joinery now installed. Final fit-off of fixtures and fittings is underway, with flooring to commence shortly. Externally, hardscaping has now commenced, marking another step forward in the build progress.
- Homes 227–232: Internally, these homes are progressing well, with joinery installed and tiling now complete. Installation of fixtures and fittings is underway, while externally, hardscaping is set to commence shortly.
