Now that the building is complete we can now lodge the Strata Plan which is reviewed by a registered surveyor (external party).

An Occupation Certificate (also known as Certificate of Occupancy) will be registered to confirm the building complies with the State’s specific building codes and that the building is ready to be occupied.

6 - Practical Completion
Practical completion stage means that the builder has completed the majority of the construction, so it is time to get ready to settle and move in.

7 - Finance & legal
It's time to get ready for settlement.

8 - Valuation
Some lenders or banks may require a valuation of your property.

9 - Pre-Settlement Inspection
A pre-settlement inspection allows you to inspect your future home to investigate its quality and note any defects or issues that need to be rectified before settlement.

10 - Settlement Notice
Once the title is registered and the property has received a Certificate of Occupancy

11 - Settlement
On the settlement day, you pay the balance of the purchase price and you are now the registered owner of the property.

Please note that keys cannot be collected until settlement has taken place

Monfort Townhomes 2A
- Homes 201–204: Tiling is complete, joinery installed, and benchtops and marble splashbacks are in place. Externally, topsoil has been imported and planting is expected to begin shortly.
- Homes 214–220: Construction is progressing well, with external cladding underway and internal plasterboard installation now in progress.
- Homes 221–226: Cladding works are underway, and internal plasterboard installation has now commenced.
- Homes 233–241: Brickwork is complete, with rendering now in progress. External cladding will commence shortly, and internal services rough-in has been completed..
- Homes 227–232: Framing is complete, with services rough-in currently underway and external cladding in progress.
