Now that the building is complete we can now lodge the Strata Plan which is reviewed by a registered surveyor (external party).

5 - Occupation Certificate
An Occupation Certificate (also known as Certificate of Occupancy) will be registered to confirm the building complies with the State’s specific building codes and that the building is ready to be occupied.

6 - Practical Completion
Practical completion stage means that the builder has completed the majority of the construction, so it is time to get ready to settle and move in.

7 - Finance & legal
It's time to get ready for settlement.
Read more
8 - Valuation
Some lenders or banks may require a valuation of your property.
Read more
9 - Pre-Settlement Inspection
A pre-settlement inspection allows you to inspect your future home to investigate its quality and note any defects or issues that need to be rectified before settlement.

10 - Settlement Notice
Once the title is registered and the property has received a Certificate of Occupancy

11 - Settlement
On the settlement day, you pay the balance of the purchase price and you are now the registered owner of the property.

Please note that keys cannot be collected until settlement has taken place

Settlements underway
Monfort Townhomes 2B
- Homes 221-226: In very exciting news, these homes are now complete, and settlements have been called for. The settlement date is 30th September.
By now, ideally you have obtained unconditional finance approval in readiness for settlement and signed your final loan documentation. If not, please follow up with your bank or broker to escalate your application for urgent approval. - Homes 201-204, 214-220, 233-241: These homes have also been completed, and we have called for settlement. The settlement date is 12th October.
