Now that the building is complete we can now lodge the Strata Plan which is reviewed by a registered surveyor (external party).

An Occupation Certificate (also known as Certificate of Occupancy) will be registered to confirm the building complies with the State’s specific building codes and that the building is ready to be occupied.

6 - Practical Completion
Practical completion stage means that the builder has completed the majority of the construction, so it is time to get ready to settle and move in.

7 - Finance & legal
It's time to get ready for settlement.

8 - Valuation
Some lenders or banks may require a valuation of your property.

9 - Pre-Settlement Inspection
A pre-settlement inspection allows you to inspect your future home to investigate its quality and note any defects or issues that need to be rectified before settlement.

10 - Settlement Notice
Once the title is registered and the property has received a Certificate of Occupancy

11 - Settlement
On the settlement day, you pay the balance of the purchase price and you are now the registered owner of the property.

Planned Settlement: Q3 2026
Monfort Townhomes 2A
- Homes 205–207: Joinery installation is complete and stone benchtops are in place. Services fit-off has been finalised. Externally, topsoil has been imported and areas are prepared for planting.
- Homes 208–213: Internally, the builder is progressing through the final defects stage. Appliances have been installed and commissioned, with fencing installation due to commence shortly.
- Homes 242–247: Internally, joinery installation is underway, with benchtops already in place. Landscaping works are expected to commence shortly.
